Eclipse Jet to go back into production in 2013!

With the Eclipse going back into production, Sikorsky as a partner, IFMS, PhostrEx and new combustion liners restoring flight to FL410 FAA certified, well over 100 airplanes "completed" and several other improvements on the radar screen, 2011 is the best year yet for this fun-to-fly little gem of a jet!

Eclipse News Summary

- Eclipse Aerospace announced at NBAA that the Eclipse will go back into production with deliveries in 2013.

- The FAA has issued the final rule modifications to 61.58 for single pilot jet proficiency checks. The FAA has issued a one year extension until October of 2012 to get your proficiency check. Check the forums for more information about the implementation extension.

- FAA has approved the new engine combustion liners, which will allow the return to FL410. Installation of the new liner will take approx 18 months for the whole fleet.

- FAA has approved the new PhostrEx canister, which started shipping in later October.
